Can someone please explain to me what are the main differences between bitcoin cash and regular bitcoin and why people from other subs are against bitcoin cash?

Can someone please explain to me what are the main differences between bitcoin cash and regular bitcoin and why people from other subs are against bitcoin cash?

I've read a little bit about people talking about block size or Segwit or something but I don't really understand what all of that is. Can somebody explain all of the main problems people have with one vs the other? Assume I'm a moron plz.
