New Cryptocurrency Trading Platform From Yahoo To Trade Crypto Assets

Investors Can Trade Digital Currencies On Yahoo's Cryptocurrency Trading Platform

Mass adoption of cryptocurrency may get a major boost with a new and innovative integration now available into Yahoo Finance. Crypto investors can now sell and purchase digital currencies like Ethereum, Bitcoin, as well as Litecoin on its cryptocurrency trading platform.

However, some important digital currencies in the cryptomarket like Ripple, Stellar, and Bitcoin cash are not made available yet for transactions. Partner and founder of Morgan Creek and Twitter user @APompliano tweeted that ‘the virus is spreading.’

Incidentally, Cryptocompare is providing the data, which is being utilized at Yahoo’s cryptocurrency trading platform. There is no doubt that it is an extremely positive step for the cryptocurrency space. It awaits a Bitcoin ETF’s approval at present.

However, the non-inclusion of a few established cryptocurrencies like Ripple and Bitcoin in the trading came as a surprise for some people. Both these virtual currencies enjoy a better rank as compared to Litecoin with respect to market capitalization. At the same time, it is possible that the platform is not following the market cap share to list the virtual coins.

Mainstream Organizations Should Back Digital Currencies

While the platform also displays some other virtual currencies, the purchase and sell choices for them are missing at the moment. No confirmation is made yet on if Yahoo Finance is going to include new cryptocurrencies with the choice to trade them. Mainstream organizations and platforms should support and back the cryptocurrencies so that their global adoption becomes easier.

The last few months saw certain comments about cryptos made by the various regulatory bodies and governmental agencies, Bitcoin Exchange Guide reported. These remarks have had an effect in the crypto space in general.

Nevertheless, some nations appear to be moving towards cryptocurrency trading. For instance, Venezuela has many retail stores, which are now accepting payments in form of cryptocurrencies. Interests for digital currencies are also rising in countries like Turkey and Argentina.
