Coinbase as a payment processor

The current issues with PayPal/patrron censorship, had made me wonder if coinbase could get into the payment processing game. Where the customer pays with debit/credit card and vendor only gets paid in crypto. Even with a small limit of $100(paid 30 days later+minimal fee), would be very disruptive to PayPal.

Plenty of content creators would be willing to go through hassle dealing with crypto, rather than wait for the masses to catch up.
