Whatever happened to Kim Dotcom? Somebody should tell him that Lighting Network is "in beta", not production ready and that "Kimcoin built on Blockstream's Liquid" is not crypto

I'm just dumbstruck by this status of his (link):

Excited about #buying/ #selling digital content using #Bitcoin? Check out https://K.im powered by #bitcoin, #Kimcoin (Built on @Blockstream's #liquid) and #Ligtning $BTC.

He seemed quite educated about crypto vs. pseudo-crypto, about corruption, sabotage tactics coming from high places, that BTC can't scale, prohibitively high fees, why BCH happened and why it does make sense.

Now, he does the complete opposite to what he apparently understood before, just makes me wonder, has he struck a deal with the feds or what happened here? That, or somebody manipulating him? Or maybe just pure old greed won out in the end? This direction doesn't make sense otherwise.

He is also selling his "Kimcoin Liquid tokens" on Bitfinex, I mean, really?

Also, there is this

Will be discussing my new #crpto project @kimcoinofficial with @ToneVays 👍🏻

Tone Vays? It's like somebody wiped his mind or something.

The sudden love for saboteur Blockstream, crippled BTC, unfinished (and unfinishable) Lightning, corrupt Bitfinex and ... Tone Vays, it just seems too bizarre

On his Medium blog he writes this about BCH:

And then there was BCH

While looking for a scalable solution, we even explored adjusting our product to launch on Bitcoin Cash because it seemed there were clear upsides. The bitcoin cash community seemed interested to invest a very large sum and even adjust their technical roadmap to accommodate our product needs. But we also realized that this wasn’t the way forward.

He mentions all the clear upsides and then closes with "realized that this wasn’t the way forward", what? Why? What are the reasons? Does anyone know? Can we find out? Maybe Roger, Amoury etc. would know?

Because this seems like he can't come up with any reasons not to use BCH, it's just mentioned for good measure and given some silly excuse.

I'd really like to know more, if anyone knows. I wonder, did he just sell out or are there any real reasons behind these decisions?
