Lollie, a cryptocurrency payment platform that gives online shopping customers a bitcoin reserve, has joined with Alibaba, China's largest e-commerce company. Lollie announced that it would be the first Asian company to form a partnership with Alibaba on Wednesday.
Users of Lollie, an app for browsers, will receive their purchase reserves in bitcoins, not cash, if they buy items from online shopping malls and pay them through Lollie.
Lollie's CEO Alex Adelman said he plans to expand services to more countries around the world next year, adding that Alibaba's partnership will be a meaningful milestone.
