A hypothetical question about btc and bch

We are traveling 5-10 years into the future, it's obviously a time where a lot of payments are done digitally and per blockchain.

So to my question. The btc network will be so overloaded and the lightning network doesn't work as wanted and didn't developed as hoped. We assume there was no other invention to solve the scability.

We are now in a moment where the btc protocol has to change in a way like bch to stay functional.

So, why are the most bch people assuming the btc network would never change when it's really needed. (and no it's not needed today, everyday operating btc shows that. It would be beneficial to change for the user of btc for sure, but is this your first day on this planet? More money is always better for cooperations until someone or something forces them to change.)

How fast could the btc protocol change in that way and make bch obsolete. And why is it so unlikely that it will happen in this order and not like bch will overtake btc in longterm what i red so often.

Why isn't it possible that the world will use a mix from pos, pow and tangle to manage everyday payments? Why it have to be bch. Why isn't it possible that the btc blockchain stay a kind of store of value. I'm now 5 years into btc tell whatever you want it's more then a store of value for people with hodl hands.

I'm currently invested in both, mostly because of egon1 and the gang in bch but majorly in btc because of my thoughts.

Fuck sorry a lot of questions here. It sounded like one question in my head 😂🙏 don't roast me pls
