Don't get me wrong dogecoin is a pretty cool crypto but that doesn't make it better then bitcoin
Lets look at the math
Here’s the breakdown in kilowatt-hours consumed per transaction
- Dogecoin — 0.12
- Ethereum — 62.56
- Bitcoin — 707
If more people use dogecoin then difficulty and the amount of transactions happening increases which also means more miners more miners means worse energy usage. keep in mind bitcoin has many times more miners then doge after that all though it still would technically be more energy efficient the few dollars it saves won't be worth the lost security.
While the problems of energy and bitcoin exist doge is not the answer. Bitcoin cash while not perfect is much better
