Exhibit A: https://twitter.com/connolly_dan/status/1069933768947970048
There was allegedly a BCH developer meeting on 16 August 2018, the minutes of which are supposedly confidential.
Now extracts from those minutes are being published without public recourse to verify.
Is the attendance list of that meeting even public?
If not, why not?
Bitcoin Cash will not succeed until developers realize the folly of keeping such meetings away from the public eye.
This bad habit of Chatham House rules took on prominence with the "Satoshi Roundtable" club meetings which did not result in a positive development for Bitcoin.
We must not let this rot continue.
There is nothing about Bitcoin (Cash) development that has to be hidden in the dark. Drag it out into the light. Open the debate to full public view.
Require that all meetings where upgrade decisions are made, have their minutes recorded on the blockchain for everyone to read.
