This is what Shilling for a coin looks like, my god, grade-A example

I have some experience with seeing the other side of shilling, how shilling gets started and paid for, the people who buy shilling, although my experience was by complete accident.

You see, I was in a certain Telegram channel related to a project that sought to obtain funding through a token issuance.

I thought the project was a good one, it's unrelated to crypto, and they sought to raise a million dollars.

The channel was full of enthusiasts who'd been part of the project community for years or longer.

But when token funding was started, someone reached out to the crypto locusts and got them excited about a new token. This was earlier this year.

Masses of these people began pouring into this enthusiast telegram channel, and it was clear they were a very different sort of people, asking mainly about the pre-sale rewards and discounts, and a lot of them asking for bounties.

I'd never heard this term before, but apparently these locusts were used to getting bounties of free tokens for doing certain things.

These things included, as it turns out, making positive comments on public forums, like Reddit.

Me being a long time Redditor, I had snagged the Reddit sub name for this project and had given them access, though I stayed on as a mod myself.

What happened next was these locusts began coming into Reddit and making shill-type messages. It was actually really obvious, they'd say something positive but otherwise empty, a line or too at most, completely soulless comments designed primarily to hype the project and express positivity about it.

I ended up having to delete these kinds of comments all across that sub because they were so bad, so obviously shill accounts, and otherwise stop it from happening.

So, I don't have anything to show you from that sub, but I would like to present to you exactly what this effect looks like.

Mind you this is an example of completely amateurish shilling. But if you see this you will know what shilling of this sort at least looks like, it's incredibly bad and you should steer clear of any project that engages it.

Normally this page would've been removed, but in this case I will link it so you all may experience the wonder that is a page covered in shill comments, enjoy:
