Have you had issues with the Bitcoin.com wallet today? Unable to view balance or connect to the network? I have a fix for you.

I figured this out on my own after I noticed the wallet wouldn't connect.

After seeing this thread: https://old.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/dai8jc/bitcoincom_wallet_now_not_refreshing_my_bitcoin/ I've decided to post this thread to help others fix this issue.

You might notice today, some of you had issues in regards to the Bitcoin.com wallet having network errors. You couldn't send, receive, or view your balance in both BCH or fiat.

To fix this follow these steps:

1. Click on the wallet in the app
2. Click on the settings icon in the top right
3. Select "Wallet service URL"
4. On the wallet service URL screen, click the "refresh icon". You should notice the URL change.
5. Save changes
6. Exit out of the screen and go back to your wallet screen. In the bottom right of the balance label box, click "Tap to refresh". You should get an error saying you need to create this wallet on this Bitcoin wallet service instance.
7. Press "tap to recreate"
8. It'll recreate your wallet on this BWS instance.
9. If needed, press "tap to refresh" again to sync your funds.

You should be good to go!
