Quant Mutual Fund has declared the dividend for its Quant High Yield Equity Plan. The fund house has announced the record date for dividend declaration of the scheme to be August 06, 2018.
Quant MF has fixed the rate of dividend for the High Yield Equity Plan to be 0.60 Rupees per unit on the face value of 10 Rupees per unit, according to KJMC.
The open-ended multi-cap equity scheme aims to produce and long-term capital growth and current income from a portfolio extensively consisting of equity and equity related instruments.
The scheme follows value-oriented investment philosophy. The importance will be given to firms having powerful sustainable competitive benefits in good businesses, firms having comprehensive management, and companies paying consistent dividends.
The High Yield Equity Plan of Quant Mutual Fund, with an inception date in November 2006, is benchmarked under the NIFTY 100 Total Return Index.
The Quant MF scheme offers Bonus, Growth and Dividend options.
The fund size of the open-ended multi-cap equity scheme is 5.21 crore Rupees, according to The Economic Times.
Quant MF has assigned Mr. Sanjeev Sharma as the Fund Manager of the Quant High Yield Equity Plan (Erstwhile Escorts High Yield Equity) since February 2017. Mr. Sharma holds M. Com, PGDBA (Finance), and PG Diploma in Computer Applications.
Mr. Sharma has about 6 years of experience in Debt Research. Apart from managing Quant High Yield Equity Plan, he also manages Balanced Fund, Growth Plan, Income Bond, Income Plan, Infrastructure Fund, Leading Sectors Fund, Opportunities Fund, Power & Energy Fund, and Tax Plan of the fund house, according to PersonalFN.
