The first global awards for felicitating the best ICO projects have been set in motion in London. The finest blockchain projects are expected to be awarded at the ceremony.
The ICON Award will pick out the finest global ICO projects and reward success and talent with international recognition. Dubliner Jillian Godsil, a columnist associated with the platform is also the co-founder of these awards.
ICO Sofa’s Adam Hill and DisPRuptive PR’s founder Clara Florey had this unique idea of acknowledging as well as celebrating not through experts but through a system of public voting to pick the best ICOs in the world.
A global team of domain experts joins them to give shape to this brilliant idea. The team includes Oliver Cheatham (New York), Pedro Borges (Sao Paulo), Peter Kristensen (Florida), and Jillian Godsil (Dublin).
According to Florey, the world of ICOs is a fast-moving one but there was no initiative earlier to acknowledge the success of such projects internationally. At the same time, a positive sign was that capital was being raised. While there were some rating sites, it appeared that the experts could be convinced to rate their favorites.
The awards are scheduled to be hosted at London on December 7 this year. A mystery celebrity guest will host the event and the ceremony is expected to be a highly glamorous one with the key players of the cryptocurrency stakeholders attending the affair, IrishCentral wrote.
First Islamic Crypto Exchange
In other news, the First Islamic Crypto Exchange is being developed by ADAB Solutions which will be based on the Shariah Law. It is expected to list some of the best ICOs from around the world. The implementation is expected to come up with a global infrastructure, which will operate on the idea of Islamic Finance. It is also expected to come up with the solution for the issues related to halal cryptocurrency transactions, The Coin Shark reported.
