Local.bitcoin.com is apparently upgrading their services soon

I noticed in the past few months a lot of complaints about glitches on local.bitcoin.com. Issues with withdrawing, seeing balances, etc.

I just looked at the site for the first time in months. It now states:

"We’re upgrading our services. If you see any errors while sending please try again soon or contact our support team at support@bitcoin.com."

Has any information on the upgrade been announced yet?
