According to Irish Times, Mastercard’s Research and Development initiatives lead Ken Moore stated that Mastercard’s Dublin-based unit is moving from digital development payment solution to wider groups. In addition to this, he also mentioned that their prime focus now is to move towards new technologies like blockchain, which provides real, grounded services and products. The payment company has allocated most of its research and development work in Ireland after gaining significant growth in the Irish market.
