Tata Mutual Fund Key Personnel Appointed

TATA Asset Management Limited has appointed Mr. M V S Murthy as TATA Mutual Fund Key Personnel and Head – Marketing & Digital, with effect from September 07, 2018, the fund house announced the news.

Mr. Murthy is working as a Co-Founder and COO at WorkApps Inc., from May 2016 to present. Prior to that, he has worked as a Vice President – Marketing, E-biz & Direct to Customer Channel at Tata AIG from June 2015 to May 2016.

From August 2011 to May 2015, he worked as a Privilege Banking Head – Product, Portfolio Management, Marketing & Loyalty at ICICI Bank Ltd. From March 2010  to October 2011, he worked as a Vice President at Edelweiss Broking Ltd.

He worked at Times of Money Ltd as Business Manager – ePayments involving in development of mobile payment mechanism and in planning its launch, from August 2009 to March 2010.

The new TATA Mutual Fund Key Personnel Murthy was employed as a Vice – President – Regular Income Segment & Head Marketing at Brics Securities from January 2008 to July 2009 and was working as a National Sales Manager – Salary Accounts at ICICI Bank Ltd from August 2004 to January 2008.

He also worked for four years as an Interactive Strategist at Urja Communications from 2000 to 2004, as Account Manager at Webshastra Pvt. Ltd from July 2000 to April 2001, and as an Account Supervisor at Art Advertising from July 1999 to June 2000.

He started his career as an Account Executive at Ogilvy & Mather India in June 1997. From June 1997 to June 1999, he was employed at Ogilvy & Mather India involving in Client Servicing before moving to Art Advertising.

The 45-years old Murthy has done MBA – Marketing from Institute for Technology and Management, B.A (Economics) from University of Mumbai, Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Aeronautical Training Centre Of India, Bombay, based on the information available in his LinkedIn profile.

The TATA AMC has announced the news of the appointment of TATA Mutual Fund Key Personnel on September 12, 2018, according to a report from KJMC.
