Anyway to speed up a slow tx?

Hi,

Apologies if this is a noobish question, but it's the first time I've run into this on BCH and I want to both try and understand it and find out if there is anything I can do.

My current understanding is that BCH blocks are 32MB - the block time is 10 minutes - and blocks are not even close to full. According to my understanding of that, my transaction should be in the next block, or at the very least the one after, which does not seem to be the case.

I've sent 0.08391854 BCH and paid .000050222222222222226 BCH per kB in fees 25 minutes ago, by looking at blockdozer it still hasn't confirmed.

So the questions I have are:

a) If the blocks are not full and block time is 10 minutes, why wasn't it confirmed in the first 10 or second 10 minute blocks.

b) Is it taking long because I paid too little in fees, should I try double what I pay next time - or won't this make any difference.

c) From what I can tell RBF in Bitcoin Core can be used to resubmit your tx before confirmation with a higher fee to ensure it goes through quicker (assuming my reasoning around paying a low fee is my problem here), I know RBF isn't in BCH because it breaks 0-conf - but is there anything similar I can do for a transaction that's already been broadcasted?

Again, I'm sorry if these are dumb questions to be asking, I'm just not sure where to look for the info - or how to articulate myself correctly to a search engine.
