Microsoft Azure Blockchain Development Kit To Integrate Third Party SaaS Offerings

Blockchain development kit from Microsoft will help to extend capabilities of Azure Blockchain Workbench and developer templates. However, the primary aim of this kit is to allow businesses create distributed ledger technology (DLT) solely for special use cases as well as to support the integration of blockchain technology with the legacy systems and existing data.

The IT giant company released its development kit supported by blockchain on its Microsoft cloud platform that has been designed to make the seamless integration of third-party SaaS offerings and Microsoft with blockchain possible.

According to Microsoft’s blockchain engineering team’s principal program managers, Marc Mercuri, “This kit extends the capabilities of our blockchain developer templates and Azure Blockchain Workbench, which incorporates Azure services for key management, off-chain identity and data, monitoring, and messaging APIs into a reference architecture that can be used to rapidly build blockchain-based applications.”

Microsoft is the pioneer company that introduced serverless offerings including Logics Apps, Functions, IoT Central and Azure DevOps for removing friction while shifting on the cloud-based operations. The blockchain kit from Microsoft Azure is also built on such serverless technologies of the company.

The blockchain development kit integrates the blockchain seamlessly with the third-party SaaS and best of the company’s software reported Microsoft Azure. Apart from extending the capabilities of the company’s blockchain developer templates, the kit also incorporates the services of Azure for off-chain identity and data, key management, and messaging APIs into reference architecture.

 

Thus, the kit contributes towards rapid development and building of blockchain-based applications. According to GitHub, the Azure kit connects interfaces to the blockchain, DevOps for smart contracts, accelerators, and can be used for integrating legacy tools, data, protocols, and systems.

Apart from Microsoft’s blockchain development kit, another solution intended to connect vehicle applications was recently launched by Filament. The company will debut the Blocklet TVA product at the conference for freight companies, Marketwaves18. According to Bitcoin Exchange Guide, Blocklet TVA is a blockchain-based pioneering platform enabling motor vehicles to leverage the blockchain technology capabilities.
