A completely non-exhaustive list of ways to help BCH

Was thinking of ways regular non-technical users can support the growth of BCH. Just my list of ideas. I know some might be more controversial, but feel free to add/comment on more.

Adoption

  • Spend some time on acceptbitcoin.cash and buy from a merchant you see listed
  • If you own a business, ask one of your suppliers to accept BCH as payment
  • Tip someone using tippr or chain tip either here or another subreddit
  • Eat at a restaurant/bar and pay in BCH
  • Offer your work services for Bitcoin Cash, check out LocalBitcoinCash.org Menu > Earn Bitcoin Cash (thanks /u/MobTwo)
  • Buy/sell Bitcoin Cash for local fiat currencies (thanks /u/MobTwo)

Awareness

  • Go to a Bitcoin Cash meetup
  • When people bring up Bitcoin, calmly and slowly explain the difference between BTC and BCH
  • If you know reporters or people in the press, continue to educate them on the different coins
  • Leave positive reviews for companies/software you like. Leave a review for Electron Cash or the Bitcoin.com wallet on the app store
  • Have your friend download a mobile wallet and send them $1 or so, so they can see it for themselves
  • Start a podcast or Youtube channel with your thoughts and educational content

Donate

Buy

  • A higher price definitely helps people see it as attractive. Spend, replace, and buy a little more.

Help for profit companies

  • Give Ryan Charles ideas on adoption - when he makes more money, it’s good for everyone involved in BCH
  • Give feedback and encouragement for developers/companies making products for BCH. Giving some love always helps

Exchanges

  • Ask any exchanges you like/use to add either BCH or BCH pairs
  • Trade on CoinEx or Voltaire.cash
  • Encourage Roger Ver to open his own exchange using BCH
  • Tell Binance to finally update the ticker to BCH from BCC
  • Come up with new trading strategies and trade more BCH pairs. More liquidity leads to a more attractive market for new users
