Nifty IT Index Trades One Percent Down; Infibeam Avenues Ltd Share Price Falls Three Percent

Nifty IT index trades lower; Infibeam Avenues Ltd Share Price slips 3 percent.

In the latest Infibeam Avenues Ltd share price report, the Nifty IT index was exchanging 1.43 percent down at 13,869.35 around 10:31 am with the vast majority of its parts exchanging the red.

Shares of Infibeam Avenues (down 3.08 percent), HCL Technologies (down 2.35 percent), Tata Elxsi (down 2.07 percent) and Infosys (down 1.84 percent) showed up among top laggards.

Tata Consultancy Services (down 1.58 percent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 1.56 percent) and MindTree (down 1.36 percent) too were among the washouts in the index.

Infibeam Avenues (down 6.36 percent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 2.12 percent), Tata Elxsi (down 1.92 percent) and NIIT Technologies (down 1.76 percent) were the washouts in the IT pack.

In a voluntary clarification to the BSE on October 26, 2018, lnfibeam Avenues said that all the material data “that have a bearing on the operation/performance of the company which includes all price sensitive information have always been disclosed within the stipulated time”.

At the yearly broad meeting of Infibeam Avenues Ltd share price report, Managing Director Vishal Mehta said the management and the whole group are buckling down towards the organization’s development.

“Some WhatsApp rumours took rounds in the market and it created panic among market participants and investors at large,” Mehta had said. The dive in share costs on October 26, 2018, was for the most part by virtue of “WhatsApp rumours”.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 103.95 points at 10,120.8 while BSE Sensex was down 339.11 at 33,694.85 around then.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were exchanging the green, while 36 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, L&T Fin Holding, SBI, Infibeam Avenues Ltd Share Price, Idea Cellular, Wipro, ICICI Bank, RIL, HPCL, Ashok Leyland and Indiabulls Housing Finance exchanged mostly on the NSE. Truly Bank, BHEL, Ambuja Cements, SBI, Tata Motors, Hindalco Inds., Idea Cellular, Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank and Vedanta were among the most exchanged securities on the NSE, according to the report of The Economic Times.
