Cashlink project was funded! (and we're hiring)

As many of you know, despite raising 88% in 24 hours the recent Cashlink flipstarter failed to get funding. The funding collapsed at the last minute due to a disinformation campaign waged by a clique of pseudonymous people (including a lead BCHN developer). Using fabricated character attacks, they managed to convince all the main pledgers to withdraw. Apparently their real motivations were inspired by a jealous and misguided sense that it wasn't appropriate for an "outsider" like myself to be raising that degree of funds from "their whales". The project was seemingly killed for every reason other than technical soundness, what would've been a tragic outcome.

Well, as fate would have it, a miracle has happened. Through some magic on my part, I was able to get this project well-funded in the end. Basically, I ended up dumping almost all of my BCH for Polkadot (DOT) and now the earnings from DOT staking (at current prices) are projected to eclipse the flipstarter raise (and beyond) over the same period. If DOT pumps (which is likely) the funding will be an order of magnitude more than what I asked for -- and we aren't burdened with the coupling to the BCH eco-system anymore! Funny how the world works out in the end.

So thank you very much im_uname, pokkst, and checksum0 for your actions. Even though your intent was malicious in nature and you besmirched my character to many in this community, the final outcome is more than what I could have hoped for.

Anyway, enough of that.

===================================

Sphere 10 is hiring crypto-enthusiast web-developers to help build a next-generation cryptocurrency based around the Cashlink flipstarter. It's pretty much Cashlink except it now will no longer be based around BCH and will have it's own layer-1 crypto.

I am seeking .NET 5 Blazor web-developer, the candidate needs:

  • Mandatory experience with .NET, ASP.NET and C# lang.
  • Highly desirable (but not mandatory) experience with Blazor framework.
  • Will need to demonstrate proof of abilities in some way.
  • Willingness to be paid in crypto (flexible here, not strictly BCH).
  • Will need to invoice from a registered company (or sole-trader entity).
  • Desirable exposure to crypto projects.

Whether it's pay-per-deliverable or pay-per-hour/week, we are flexible with contract structure. However, the project is roughly 6 months full-time.

If interested, please send email to herman (at) sphere10 (dot) com with your resume and cover letter. We are looking for an immediate (or near immediate) start. A training budget is available for Blazor ramp-up if needed.
