This is something I never heard of (my qualifications: mediocre programmer) apparently "standard templates" allow a miner to quickly/cheaply figure out the CPU load of an OP_code (instead of solely relying on transaction size). Github ref for this feature:

I find this fascinating. If it truly exists and works, it potentially immediately justifies CDSV and puts to rest the subsidising argument.
