Kakao’s Blockchain Project Plan ‘Klaytn’ Add Nine Partners To Promote Mass Adoption

Kakao's Blockchain Project Plan 'Klaytn' To Serve All Industries Through Its New Partners.

Kakao’s blockchain project plan “Klatyn” recently announced that it is adding nine service partners for promoting mass adoption of its global public blockchain platform. The platform has been developed by Ground X which is the subsidiary of Kakao, which is the leading mobile platform from South Korea. Klaytn focuses on validating the value and utility of the technology by optimizing the platform for all the service providers so that they can develop as well as operate its decentralized applications.

Klatyn intends to offer a broader spectrum of its blockchain services and hence recently announced a partnership with the leading companies from various industry verticals. The partners will further supplement the deployed testnet platform of Klaytn and help in the release of DApp services for the launch of mainnet and thus will contribute in their own way to make blockchain technology popular.

For gaming, Klaytn has partnered with Wemade Tree and intends to connect the market-proven and ever-so-popular game contents of Wemade with the blockchain technology. The aim is to redesign in-game contents so that they work smoothly with this technology focusing less on the digital item trade.

As a part of its mass adoption project plan, Klatyn also partnered with Piction Network from the content industry. Piction is the digital content ecosystem that connects the users directly with the creators through webcomics and web novels based on the blockchain, Cision PR Newswire reported.

The company will first apply the Piction Network to the Webtoon platform Battle Comics. The other new partners of Klaytn include Hint Chain (a food data project based on the blockchain), Nabu Studio (the operator of Sportsplex), Cosmochain (a beauty platform), Vetta (a game crowdfunding platform), Humanscape (the data marketplace handling patient-generated health data), and Rayon (a subsidiary of Finda).

According to Market Exclusive, the Klatyn blockchain project plan is based on a hybrid adoption of the concepts of consensus nodes (CNs) and ranger nodes (RNs). The platform integrated the nodes to achieve both transparency and scalability.
