PSU bank index shares were exchanging trading with the Nifty PSU Bank record exchanging 1.97 percent down at 2,584.85 around 02:08 pm on October 25, 2018.
Shares of Oriental Bank of Commerce (up 1.36 percent), Union Bank of India (up 0.55 percent), Punjab National Bank (up 0.30 percent) and Vijaya Bank (up 0.12 percent) were the best gainers in the file.
The Nifty PSU Bank index was exchanging 1.3 percent up at 2,760 around 11:08 am.
Shares of Bank of Baroda (BoB) (up 0.62 percent), Canara Bank (up 0.33 percent) and Union Bank of India (up 0.22 percent) too were in the green.
In any case, Allahabad Bank (down 1.78 percent), Syndicate Bank (down 1.72 percent) and Andhra Bank (down 1.44 percent) were enduring losses.
State Bank of India (down 2.50 percent), Bank of Baroda (down 2.05 percent), Syndicate Bank (down 1.26 percent) and Central Bank of India (down 0.84 percent) were the real laggards.
In PSU bank index, shares of Bank of India (down 1.31 percent), Punjab National Bank (down 1.04 percent) and Oriental Bank of Commerce (down 0.63 percent) too declined in exchange.
Equity benchmarks Nifty and Sensex were swinging among additions and losses in the midst of firm Asian signs. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 record was down 99.45 at 10,125.3 while BSE Sensex was down 365.68 at 33,668.28 around then.
Telecom, metal, realty, power and capital merchandise stocks were under sharing weight. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty record, 12 were exchanging the green, while 38 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, L&T Fin Holding, BHEL, SBI, Idea Cellular, ICICI Bank, RIL, Vedanta, Ashok Leyland, Wipro, Bank of Baroda and Tata Motors exchanged most on the NSE. State Bank of India, GAIL (India), HDFC and Bharti Infratel was among best gainers in the Nifty index, according to the report of The Economic Times.
As per PSU bank index update, Indiabulls Housing Finance, YES Bank, Vedanta, Tata Steel, and Hero MotoCorp were among the failures in the Nifty pack of stocks.
