BSE Stock Update: Midcaps And Smallcaps Gain Four Percent Outperforming Sensex; Shriram Transport, Piramal Enterprises Among Top Gainers

BSE Stock Midcap, Smallcap index jump up to 4 percent.

Midcaps and smallcaps in BSE stock were exchanging with strong gains beating Sensex on October 10, 2018, session. At 12:20 pm, the BSE Midcap list was exchanging 3.81 percent up at 14,226, while the BSE Smallcap record was exchanging 3.14 percent up at 13926. The benchmark Sensex was 1.10 percent up at 34,677.

Shares of Shriram Transport Finance Company (up 13.62 percent), Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company (up 10.94 percent), National Aluminum Company (up 9.84 percent), Reliance Power (up 4.40 percent), Container Corporation of India (up 3.93 percent), TVS Motor Company (up 3.56 percent), Max Financial Services (up 3.47 percent) and Torrent Power (up 3.12 percent), Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services (up 9.42 percent) and Piramal Enterprises (up 9.38 percent) were among the best gainers in the midcap record.

However, in BSE stock, Adani Enterprises (down 2.96 percent), IIFL Holdings (down 2.78 percent), Sun TV Network (down 2.14 percent), GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (down 1.96 percent) and GRUH Finance (down 1.93 percent) were among the failures in the file.

Shares of HEG (up 20 percent), Genus Power Infrastructures (up 17.73 percent), Tejas Networks (up 12.26 percent), Seshasayee Paper and Boards (up 12.20 percent), Vimta Labs (up 11.29 percent), Jindal Poly Films (up 11.28 percent) and Everest Kanto Cylinder (up 9.95 percent), TD Power Systems (up 17.41 percent), Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) (up 17.19 percent) and Universal Cables (up 16.06 percent) were driving among smallcap gainers.

The market was in a positive area following increases in auto and metals managing an account stock in the midst of unabated purchasing by domestic institutional investors and rupee recuperation. The market cheered RBI’s declaration that it will infuse liquidity of Rs 12,000 crore into the framework through the buy of government bonds.

Centum Electronics (down 7.24 percent), Techno Electric and Engineering Company (down 5.17 percent), JBF Industries (down 5 percent), Ricoh India (down 4.99 percent) and Diamond Power Infrastructure (down 4.80 percent) were among the failures in the smallcap record.

In the Sensex list, 19 stocks were progressing and 12 were declining. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty file, 32 were exchanging the green, while 18 were in the red, according to the report of Economic Times.

YES Bank, Axis Bank, Maruti, IndusInd Bank, and Adani Ports were the best gainers in the BSE stock list.
