Last year I shared photos of myself giving a blockchain presentation to a room full of software devs. In response to requests, here's a recorded video of the same presentation.

This presentation is meant to be a non-technical introduction to and overview of blockchain, bitcoin, and ethereum. It has simplified explanations of the mechanics behind both transactions and mining, it offers a survey of interesting and important use-cases for cryptocurrency, and it also includes a brief origin story for Bitcoin Cash with a shout-out to r/btc.

The original talk also included a code review and live demonstration of the for-funsies cryptocurrency I made on the Ethereum platform (ThanahCoin). That section is more technical and was for the benefit of the software devs in the room to give them an easy opportunity to experiment with a real-life contract, so for this format, I've broken that part out into a separate video for anyone who is interested.

Let's keep the revolution moving forward. :)
