TraXion is planning blockchain initiative to support Filipino farmers’ growth and business network. The news was revealed by the CEO of the financial services provider, Ann Cuisia. According to Ann, through this initiative, the blockchain-based financial service wants to transform the way people in rural communities live.
Ann stated that the program from TraXion has been designed to help farmers located in the remote villages of the Mindanao region by using distributed ledger technology (DLT). With the help of this technology, the company wants to streamline and introduce transparency in all the financial activities including payrolls thereby achieving inclusion. This program is conducted in coalition with various companies supporting farming network and until now has extended its support to around 14 companies.
Cuisia stated, “We have grown bigger and better since our launch [in August]. It is not just TraXion anymore, but we are now a coalition. We are multiple companies from different industries that are joined together to be one network.” The coalition initially started off with eight companies but now six more companies have shown their interest in joining the group.
Highlighting the features of these companies supporting farmers’ business growth. Cuisia further added that these companies intend to take their businesses as well as technology to next level with the help of blockchain but cannot do so as they lack the proper team for execution, Cryptovestreported.
Members who are joining the coalition stand to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of TraXion and both will together contribute to the revolution of blockchain and play a significant role in making it more popular and changing the way different industries including agriculture and farming sector works.
Similar to TraXion, Producers Token is also doing its bit to build a global innovative agricultural marketplace and community for the consumers and farmers using blockchain technology. The company is bringing producers together on a smart value chain to provide them with free digital marketing tools and technology so that they can experience greater profitability, consistency, and capital resources.
While discussing Producers Token and its contribution to farmers’ business network, company’s CEO Keith Agoada said that it is his mission to create innovative marketing models that bring a change in the marketing of agriculture by introducing more transparency, TechBullion reported.
